Nature Camp @10 Acre Wood Nature Preschool

Hosted at 10 Acres Preschool in collaboration with Momma Earth, your child (between the age of 33 months and 6 years) will have the opportunity to engage in play-based learning to gain gross motor strength & coordination, planning & organization skills, and social-emotional & regulation skills. 

Guided by a pediatric occupational therapist, the activities will be broken into easy to follow steps. Children will be given guided support as needed. Activities are intentionally organized to increase overall body awareness and regulation skills to optimize each child's brain-body connection. Amber will provide education to parents on how the games support development and higher level skills. 

Camp flow as follows: Circle/welcome, gross motor play to warm-up and increase body awareness and focus, group planning (executive functioning, fine motor skills, and social collaboration!), create & play with planned gross motor obstacle course, regulation activity (bubbles?!), circle/closing and sharing/question time. 

Expect easy take-home ideas, laughter, and fun! 

*If your child is currently enrolled at 10 acres, you're more than welcome to join in the fun as a parent/caregiver. 

**If your child is NOT currenlty enrolled at 10 acres, please plan to HAVE 1 ADULT ATTEND WITH YOUR CHILD. This is for safety and liability reasons, but you'll be glad you joined!
